Terms of Service

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or the minimum age required for independent consent in your country if that age is higher. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Use real information — an email you can access and a name you're happy to be contacted by.

Your content

You own the games, notes, and media you record in ScoreReel. By uploading them, you grant us the limited licence we need to store, process, and sync that content across your devices and to deliver the features you use.

Only upload content you have the right to share — your own photos and videos, or media where you have permission from the people involved. Do not upload anything illegal, infringing, harassing, or that violates another person's privacy, especially where children are involved.

You may import a calendar only if you are entitled to use it, for example your own team's shared calendar. Imported tournaments are your content like any other; you can remove a whole import again from the app.

Documents you attach to a training, such as PDFs and images, are your content like any other. Only attach files you are entitled to use. They stay on your device and we do not review them.

Team logos and reporting content

Team and player images you add yourself, such as a crest from your gallery or camera, are stored on your behalf and shown only where you use them. You are responsible for having the right to use them. We host them and do not review them in advance.

The app also offers a library of club crests collected from public sources such as national federations. Crests remain the property of their clubs. They are provided so you can identify the teams in your own games, not as an endorsement by any club or league.

If you believe a logo or any other content in ScoreReel infringes your rights or is otherwise inappropriate, email hello@scorereel.app with a description of where it appears. We review reports promptly and remove or block content where justified. Clubs and rights holders can ask for their crest to be removed from the library at any time.

Live Ticker

When you enable Live Ticker for a game or tournament, the scores, events, and any video clips you attach become accessible to anyone who holds the share link. If you also tick "List publicly", the broadcast appears on our public Live page while it is active. Clips published to a ticker carry no sound; the audio recorded with them stays on your phone.

Game and tournament broadcasts expire automatically after 24 hours, or after 7 days with a Season Pass, counted from the game's start — for a tournament, its first game. You can disable or delete a broadcast at any time from the app.

Automatic publishing is set per game or per tournament and is off unless you turn it on. Where it is on, the goals you log while recording that game are pushed to its ticker as clips without a further tap; the same rules apply as if you had shared each one yourself, and you can turn it off for a single game or the whole tournament at any time.

Game times on a ticker are shown as the local time at the venue; when a viewer's own time zone differs, their local time is shown next to it.

Subscriptions and purchases

Scorekeeping, recording and live tickers are free. The Season Pass (yearly) and the monthly plan unlock unlimited Goal Reels, 7-day live tickers for games and tournaments, and all share designs for result images and player cards. Free accounts can create three Goal Reels per game and use one design per share type.

Subscriptions are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms; payment is charged to your store account. They renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel anytime in your store's subscription settings — cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. If we change prices, we'll notify you in advance and you can cancel before the change takes effect. The free version shows one small banner on the dashboard; the Season Pass removes advertising.

Acceptable use

Don't: reverse-engineer the app, scrape the service, abuse the Live Ticker (for example, sharing content without the consent of the people involved), impersonate others, interfere with other users, or attempt to access data that isn't yours.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Third-party services

If you sign in with Apple or Google, your use of those services is also governed by their terms. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they do with your data under their own policies.

Availability and support

We work to keep the app available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by Swiss law, our liability is limited to direct damages. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data when you have not maintained your own backups.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms or the law, with notice where reasonable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the canton where we are registered, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.

Changes

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top and notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
