Delete your account

You can delete your ScoreReel account and everything in it yourself, from the app, at any time. If you no longer have the app, email us and we will do it for you. This page explains both ways and exactly what is removed.

In the app

1. Open the menu and go to Settings → Account.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Read the warning and confirm.

Deletion takes effect the moment you confirm. There is no grace period and no way back: neither you nor we can restore the account afterwards. Export anything you want to keep first — result images, player cards and Goal Reels can be shared out of the app before you go.

By email

If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed, send an email to hello@scorereel.app with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the address you signed up with (for Apple or Google sign-in, the address of that account), so we can be sure the request is yours; if that address is gone, tell us and we will find another way to verify you.

We delete the account within 7 days of the request and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in, and every profile in it.

Everything you created: games, goals, penalties and events, players, teams, tournaments, training sessions, venues, notes and bookmarks.

Files stored on our servers: team logos, player photos, and the goal clips you published to a live ticker.

All live tickers you created — their links stop working immediately.

Your subscription entitlement record (which plan you had and until when).

What is not deleted

Recordings and photos taken in the app are stored inside ScoreReel, not in your photo library, and they go with the account: once it is deleted there is no way to open them. The deletion screen offers Export all media, which copies them to your photo library — use it first.

If you turned on iCloud backup, the copies in your own iCloud Drive (in the Files app, under ScoreReel) are not touched — we never had them. You can watch them from there, but they cannot be brought back into a new ScoreReel account. Delete them from iCloud yourself if you want them gone.

Goal Reels and result images you shared to other apps live wherever you sent them.

Residual copies of your data in encrypted backups are overwritten as those backups age out, within 30 days. Diagnostic reports (crash logs), which are not linked to your name, are kept for up to 90 days.

Deleting the account does not cancel a running subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or it will renew.

If you only want to delete some of it

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove a child's data. A single profile can be deleted from Manage profiles; it waits in Recently deleted for 30 days, during which you can restore it, and is then permanently removed with its games, players and teams. Individual games, players, teams and recordings can be deleted from their own pages, and a live ticker can be switched off from the game or tournament.
